Dehumidifier for a basement

Condensing dehumidifiers pull water out of damp rooms. Heat-pump models do it with less electricity.

Portable dehumidifier

A basement, a bathroom, or a room after a leak stays damp long after the visible water is gone. A condensing unit collects that moisture. A hygrostat stops it once the air is in range, and selected models can drain continuously.

Condensing units work best above roughly 15–18 °C. A cold garage is a different case. Tell us the temperature of the room, not only its size.

Questions

Will it work in a cold basement?

A condensing unit likes air above roughly 15–18 °C. Colder cellars and garages are a better match for a desiccant unit.

Does a dehumidifier clean pollen?

No. It removes water. Pollen and dust belong to the PURE family.
